This book is not intended to offer easy answers to vital needs, but to show that environmentalists do not entertain
sterile dreams. Naïve are those who still do not believe that development can be reconciled with ethical political structures, clean energy and social inclusion.

However, in order for this to happen – there is always a “however” in every story – it’s necessary to improve our economic and political models, as states the author. We are still in the first phases of what these new models could be. This book is an invitation to thought, hoping that, together, we can search for possible paths that enable us to ensure our descendants the same sort of natural resources that we inherited from our ancestors.

This book is addressed to all those who are interested in present and future challenges, and is dedicated to those who are still unable to read: the children of this and next generations.
